Use Managani Desktop

Menu Bar and System Tray

The Desktop menu includes:

• Show Managani
• Open All Chat
• Open Notifications
• Each account with Dashboard, All Chat, All Feedback, and Notifications links
• Global shortcuts
• Notifications
• Show unread counts
• Start Managani at login
• Check for updates
• Quit Managani

Selecting an account destination switches to that account before opening the requested view.

Notifications

Chat notifications are enabled by default. Open Settings > Notifications inside Desktop to enable or disable native alerts for Chat, Feedback, Social, and Content Strategy.

Choose a full preview, title only, or private notification text. Windows and Linux can request alerts that stay visible until dismissed. macOS controls persistence in System Settings.

Clicking a notification opens its account and destination. Managani suppresses a chat alert when that exact conversation is already open in the focused window.

Unread Counts

Desktop totals unread notifications across unique accounts on the selected server. Depending on the operating system, the count appears in the menu bar, Dock, taskbar, application badge, tray tooltip, or account menu.

Shortcuts

Default global shortcuts work while Desktop is running, even when its window is hidden:

Open Notifications	Control+Shift+Super+N

Change them under Settings > Notifications > Desktop notifications. A shortcut must include Control, Alt, or Command/Super. Managani keeps the previous set when another application already owns a new shortcut.

Window shortcuts include Command+Shift+C or Ctrl+Shift+C for All Chat, Command+Shift+N or Ctrl+Shift+N for Notifications, and Command+W or Ctrl+W to hide the window.

Updates

Managani checks https://transfer.managani.com/apps for updates. It asks before downloading and asks again before restarting. If you choose Later after download, the update installs when Desktop quits.
