Managani Mobile
Managani Mobile keeps the customer work that benefits from a quick response close at hand. Use it on iPhone, iPad, or Android to handle Chat and Feedback, search across supported records, and receive push notifications from a Managani Cloud account.
The mobile app is a companion for your Managani team. It is not a mobile SDK for placing tours or messages inside your customers' native applications.
Get the App
Sign in to Managani, then use the mobile apps link in the navigation to download the app for your device.
There are no public App Store or Google Play links during this release. The signed-in page provides the correct build and access instructions for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
Sign In
- Open the mobile app.
- Choose Continue with Managani Cloud. Advanced server entry is reserved for private v1 testing during beta.
- Complete authorization in the system browser.
- Return to Managani Mobile when the browser confirms the connection.
- Select a site when your account has access to more than one.
Mobile uses OAuth authorization code flow with PKCE. The browser authorizes the app without asking you to paste a password or long-lived access token into the client. Start sign-in again if the authorization window expires or the callback is interrupted.
The Advanced server option previews the planned v1 self-hosted connection. There is no supported public self-hosted release during beta. Private v1 test servers must use an HTTPS origin reachable from the device and expose Managani's mobile OAuth client and mobile API routes.
Chat
The Chat tab shows customer conversations available to the selected site.
- Review open conversations and unread state.
- Open a thread to read its current message history.
- Reply while retaining the customer and site context.
- Move between assigned work without opening the full web dashboard.
Confirm the selected site before replying. Mobile follows the permissions of the signed-in Managani member; it does not create broader access than the web application.
Feedback
The Feedback tab brings current customer requests into the mobile workflow.
- Review the request, status, submitter context, and recent activity.
- Search for an existing request before treating a report as new demand.
- Use the full web application for administration or editing that is not exposed in Mobile.
Feedback remains connected to the same Managani record used by the Widget, roadmap, changelog, customer history, and product workflow. Mobile does not maintain a separate feedback database.
Search
Use Search to find supported Chat and Feedback records for the active site. Search terms can match the available indexed content and supported prefixes. If an expected result is missing, confirm the site, spelling, record visibility, and whether indexing has completed on the server.
Search respects account and site permissions. Switching sites changes the records available to the current view.
Push Notifications
Allow notifications when prompted if you want Managani to alert the device about supported Chat and Feedback activity.
Notification delivery depends on all of the following:
- the device has granted notification permission;
- the app remains signed in;
- the selected account permits the underlying record;
- the device can reach the notification service;
- the Managani server has mobile notifications configured correctly.
Opening a notification should take you to the relevant mobile record. Sensitive customer details may appear on the lock screen depending on the operating-system preview setting. Adjust notification previews in iOS, iPadOS, or Android settings when that is not appropriate.
Switch Server or Account
Sign out before connecting Mobile to another Managani Cloud account or authorized private v1 test server. Reauthorize the app and select the intended site. Do not reuse a callback or authorization URL from an earlier sign-in attempt; those values are short-lived and single-purpose.
Troubleshooting
The browser finishes, but the app does not open
Return to Managani Mobile manually. If the account is still disconnected, start sign-in again and keep the app installed while the browser completes authorization. Check whether the operating system asked which app should handle the Managani link.
The server cannot be reached
Advanced server entry is a v1 preview, not a supported public self-hosting path during beta. For an authorized private test, enter the public HTTPS origin without an admin path or trailing application route and verify that it opens from the device browser.
Chat, Feedback, or Search is empty
Confirm the selected site and account permissions. Refresh the relevant view after connectivity returns. An empty result can also be correct when no matching accessible record exists.
Notifications do not arrive
Check operating-system notification permission, focus or do-not-disturb settings, background restrictions, network access, and the server's mobile notification configuration. Sign out and authorize again if the device registration has become stale.
A request keeps repeating
Update to the latest mobile build, close and reopen the app, then sign out and authorize again. If the loop continues, report the device platform, app version, server origin, affected screen, and approximate time without including passwords or authorization links.
